The Mansfield Township Ambulance Corps is hosting a free training course, “ Stop the Bleed” to community members. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. This training is appropriate for ages ten years and over. The training will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Mansfield Township Municipal Complex Meeting Room at 3135 Route 206 South, Suite 2 Columbus, NJ

The American Red Cross will hold a Lifesaver Blood Drive in the Hall at the Chesterfield Fire Company, 296 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road, Chesterfield NJ on Monday, June 19th, 2023, from 1:30pm-6:30pm.
According to the Red Cross website there is an immediate need for blood donations to overcome a 26,000-donation shortfall in May.
For those donating in June, there are additional incentives to donate. The Red Cross will provide a $10.00 gift card to a merchant of your choice to all donors. June donors will also be automatically entered for a chance to win an outdoor theater package valued at $2,865.00 which includes a laser wireless projector, screen, projector tripod, smokeless firepit, four set of Adirondack chairs and two tables and a movie night snack package!
For those wishing to donate, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: Chesterfield Fire Company to schedule your appointment. If this date or location does not work for you, go to the website and search for a date or location that will. If you are not eligible to donate but still want to help you can also volunteer by going to the volunteer tab on the website.
The Chesterfield Township Harvest Festival date is set for Saturday, September 30th from noon to 4:00pm. It will again be held at Village Square Park at 30 Saddle Way, across from Chesterfield Elementary School. The event boasts free family fun with Fall activities, carnival games and rides, a chili cook off and over fifty food and retail vendors. Live music will also be a part of the day.
