Burlington County Parks is hosting free movie evenings at various Burlington County Parks. The next movie will be "Black Panther Wakanda Forever" at the Axe Factory entrance of Crystal Lake. The movie will begin at 8:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and movie snacks and refreshments.
The Burlington County Amphitheater and Historic Smithville Park will be hosts to a free concert series on Fridays and Saturdays this Summer beginning July 1. All but two of the concerts will be at the Amphitheater, located adjacent to the Burlington County Library in Westampton. The scheduled events for July 7 and September 16 will be held at Historic Smithville Park, located at 803 Smithville Road in Easthampton. The concerts will begin with the first act at 6:00pm and the second act will begin at 7:00pm with one intermission.
The Burlington County Amphitheater opens at 4:00pm and has seating for 500 but attendees are welcome to bring their own seating/or blankets. Refreshments will be available for sale and no alcohol or tobacco products are permitted.
Looking for a fun program to get your teen out of the house and back into nature this Summer? Burlington County is offering a Young Naturalist Program for teenagers that can also help with building their resume while learning some new skills. This program is free and offers a fun summer experiencing all that nature has to offer in the Burlington County Parks System. The program allows teens with an interest in the environment to develop a greater appreciation of the outside world. Those teens looking to pursue a career in the natural sciences can gain valuable experience. Teens interested can go to

Time to save the dates for the Burlington County Farm Fair coming to the Burlington County Fairgrounds July 18, 2023 through July 23, 2023. The Farm Fair website at burlingtoncountyfarmfair.com can answer most questions you have but here is a taste of some of the highlights of the five days of the fair.
Tuesday is opening day and starts of the week with some fun and interesting events. Some of the events featured include a NJ State FFA Tractor Driving Contest, a 4-H Meat, Fiber and Dairy Goat Show, and Pig Racing, The Amusement rides open at 4:00pm, wristbands are $30/person from 4:00-6:00pm and $35 per person 6:00-10:30pm. The musical entertainment begins at 6:30pm and will feature Scott Gager in the North Show Tent and The Woodshop Band near the Dining Pavilion. There will also be a movie screening of "The Reluctant Piney" presented by William J Lewis in the South Show Tent at 7:30pm. Finally, for opening night there will be Fireworks beginning at 9:45pm.
Wednesday will feature a Draft Horse Pull, Children's Tractor Pull, and a Women's Skillet throwing contest. The musical entertainment is Jim Skanes in the North Show Tent at 6:30pm, Josh Holland in the Dining Pavilion at 7:30pm, and Heart and Soul in the North Show Tent at 7:30pm. The Farm Fair Queen Contest will also be held in the North Show Tent at 8:30pm. Wednesday night is also the rain date for the fireworks if needed.
Thursday has an animal Costume Parade at 11:00am, Cowboy Larry and Brave Beth Entertainment Show at 12:00pm, and a butterfly release by the 4-H Club Pollinator Protectors at 5:30pm. Musical entertainment is Mary Jane Daze, 6:00-9:00pm in the Dining Pavilion and the Burlington County 4-h Cloggers at 7:30pm in the North Show Tent.
Friday some of the events on the schedule include an Open Western Horse Show at 7:00am, a decorated Wagon Contest, Family Fun Game Night and an Open Pet Show. Musical entertainment includes The Grouser Girls at 6:00pm in the Dining Pavilion and The Bullzeye Band at 7:30pm in the North Show Tent.
For Saturday, the final day of the Farm Fair, events will include an Open Dairy Cow Show, Adult Tractor Pull, and a "Kiss the Pig" contest. Musical entertainment includes Acoustic Explorer at 4:00pm in the North Show Tent, Loretta Allen Montgomery at 6:30-9:30pm in the dining Pavilion, and CBC Praise Band at 8:30pm in the North Show Tent.
There are several events offered every day including amusement rides, Pig Racing, Gary the Balloon Man and the 4-H Exhibit tents, Home Arts & Crafts tents and the Commercial tents. The 4-H exhibits generally close between 9:00-10:00pm. Amusement rides open every day at 4:00pm and the fair itself closes by 10:30pm
